Corded telephones for a visually impaired user provide big button, high contrast buttons that make dialing easier to see and do.  Many of these phones also have talking keypads so that the user can also hear a verbal confirmation of the number as it is being dialed.  A phone for low vision use can also have one touch dialing buttons.  With these buttons, the user doesn't need to remember a long phone number or worry about pushing the correct numbers.  These are very helpful for a low vision user or a person who may be having some memory issues.  Many users also like to have a speakerphone also built in to their low vision phone.
