Schweizer's ERGO-Lux i mobil LED Illuminated pocket series of magnifiers is available in 11 different powers, ranging from 6D (2.5X) to 56D (15X.) These illuminated magnifiers are definitively the easiest magnifier for a visually impaired person to use because to charge them, a user simply rests the magnifier handle on the induction charging pad. No plugs, no batteries, no entangling cables.
An innovative element of these magnifiers is the separate snap in mobile base, which can turn the hand held magnifier into a hands free stand magnifier with a simple add-on base. This simple base gives the user 2 different style magnifiers - a stand magnifier and a hand held magnifier - in one convenient package.
