The WS-882 digital audio recorder from Olympus is great for simple and easy note-taking in the classroom, at home, or at work.
Recorder can record and playback audio files using WMA and MP3 formats. The internal 4GB memory supports 1,000+ hours of recording and the included batteries can power the recorder for up to 100 hours. The WS-882 also has a microSD card slot, so you can add an additional 32GB of external memory. It is equipped with a mini-USB 2.0 port as well, which supports connectivity with your PC or Mac. It supports voice activation for hands-free recording and stopping as well. The recorder has a built-in mic, but it also has a microphone jack for connecting an external mic. Other features include a calendar search function, a scene select function, five folders that hold up to 200 files each and a Simple Mode for beginners.
