Product Description
A talking caller ID can help a visually impaired person know who is calling them. This stand alone talking caller ID with a jumbo LCD display works well for people who do not already have caller ID incorporated into their phone or who want to hear the caller's phone number. The talking caller ID can announce both the name and the number of the person who is calling, while the 3 3/4" x 2" LCD display shows the same information in an extra large size. An LCD back light button will further stay lit up for 8 seconds after a call comes in or other activation. Also, the LCD has 5 levels of contrast settings to find the best viewing contrast.
Call blocking is a terrific feature to help stop those pesky robo calls, blocking up to for 50 unwelcomed numbers. By contrast, a special white list allows you to record the name of 50 callers and to play that recorded name up to 5 times when a call comes in.

Very disappointing!
Well: I received the caller I D: and I immediately tried it out. I used my cell phone to call my home. The caller ID immediately spoke the incoming call number. But the quality of the voice was so poor: that if it were a unfamiliar caller: I wouldn't have been able to recognized the incoming number. Setup was easy: the buttons are easy to find for the totally blind. this would be find for the sighted: but for people that listen for the audible caller ID like me: this is just not the product. Sorry: but: I'm sending this unit back. I'll keep looking for another unit with the voice quality that the blind can clearly understand.
