The BlindShell Classic 3 is the perfect cell phone for the visually impaired person, with a large tactile keypad, an even larger screen with high contrast icons, and complete vocalization of all menu items and keystrokes.  Addisionally, all features can be controlled off line using voice control.   It starts with all the robust functionality of the BlindShell Classic 2 and adds exciting new functionality and features.  BlindShell Classic 3 comes in 2 new updated colors with an updated matte surface for better gripping.  Colors are Ocean Blue and Golden Sand - providing light and dark choices to best meet a user's individual needs.

Standard phone functions on the BlindShell Classic 3 include calling and one touch speed dials, SMS texts, email, contact management, notes, and calendar! Other specialized functions include a camera, calculator, timer, alarm, color identifier, QR code object tagging, FM radio, audio player, book reader, Bluetooth connectivity, and a specially located one touch SOS button. The BlindShell app catalog provides access to verified apps, including WhatsApp, FaceBook Messenger, YouTube, Be My Eyes, Amazon Shopper, Audible, Spotify, Zoom, GPS Points and BARD mobile for NLS talking books.  Classic 3 also includes functionality for NFC (Near Field Communication) tagging, a magnifier, and BlindShell Beep – a paging system for locating personal devices. 

New functionality with BlindShell 3 includes a new light sensor, display color updates, an increase in RAM from 2 GB to 3 GB, and an increase in internal memory up to 32GB (or 500GB with an SD card.) More importantly, BlindShell Classic 3 includes the Tandem app to allow for remote support, Luna - a virtual AI assistant, and access to (non-supported) third party applications.

Tandem App: Users can now allow friends and family to help them use their phone, using the new Tandem app.  A friend or family member can download the app, and then remotely log in to the user's phone to help the user with any questions or set up.  

Luna AI Voice Activated Assistant: Luna allows the user to completely control the phone with their voice, using either wi-fi or cellular data.  Ask Luna to set an alarm or make a schedule appointment.  Ask Luna for static information such as global names, phone numbers, and addresses.  With Luna, a user can use their voice to launch an app on the phone, dictate text, dial a contact, or navigate the phone. 

This phone will only work on T-Mobile.
