Having a lighted and a non-illuminated magnifier in the same strength lets you make the choice as to which one to use in different lighting situations. This duo consists of two of the most popular magnifiers for reading, one with a large non-illuminated 4" x 3" high quality acrylic lens and the smaller 4" x 2" LED lighted model. The lighted model requires 3 "AAA" batteries (NI). In addition, buying the duo is less expensive than purchasing each magnifier separately.
