This filter is considered helpful for individuals with Macular Degeneration, Retinitis Pigmentosa, or Corneal Pathology.The SpectraShield frame has a ridge at the top to keep the sun or light from beaming in and it has side shields of the same filter on the frame. This expertly designed NoIR SpectraShield frame offers complete protection from the sun and artificial lighting. These sunglasses can be worn alone or over prescription glasses.
