This unique weekly pill box can also be set up to send notifications and be integrated with an android 4.3 and up smartphone whenever you or a designated family member forgets to take their pills. A smartphone, however, is NOT required for operating this pill organizer. Simply rotate the compartment once pills are taken. The status button on top of the cap will state, when you tap it, when the pill holder was last opened thus confirming when pills were taken. A handy micro-usb charging port is located under a small door on the side of the lid.
