This additional handset works with Clarity's XLC8 50dB amplified cordless phones. Add up to 3 additional handsets to an existing XLC8 base, to have a total of 4 amplified cordless phones in the house.
Clarity's XLC8 amplified cordless telephone offers all of the wonderful features of the other Clarity XLC series amplified cordless phones phones , with the additional ability to pair 2 Bluetooth devices, such as smart phones. Pairing a personal cell phone to the XLC8 handset then allows calls coming in via the cell phone to receive the full 50dB of amplification, making them easier to hear. Standard XLC features include 50 dB incoming sound amplification, 15dB outgoing voice amplification, large illuminated and talking buttons talking caller ID and a high contrast caller ID screen with large font. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to make or answer a cell phone call on your XLC Bluetooth phone, and receive all of the amplification benefits of the XLC. Download and store up to 1,000 contacts from your smartphone in your XLC8 phone. A landline phone account is not required if you only want to amplify mobile calls. The XLC8 also includes a built in answering maching with slow talk to slow down messages as they are played back.
