Our 24" long mitt extends significantly past the elbow, providing coverage for nearly the entire arm, leaving almost nothing exposed which could possibly burn. Great for grabbing a heavy tray of lasagna from deep within the oven. These mitts are helpful for a low vision individual who may not be able to accuratly judge exactly where the hot oven rack is, relative to their arm.
This oven mitt is flame retardant and can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees.
